Picture of the Day #9

Well, I really looked forward on this last 2 weeks for drawing fundamental. It is about the human proportion. I did learn about human proportion before I came to here, but I didn't learn in-dept about it, just to the extend of knowing it. During this week lesson, I learn how to draw a mannequin directly from the real mannequin, not from a photo. Actually, I usually draw from pictures and almost never draw directly from the real thing, and now I need to draw a real person without photos. I also curious about the result haha.

My first attempt on drawing mannequin

This is my second attempt. I think the more I draw, the more I shorten the legs. Haha

Then this is my third attempt. Again, I think I shorten the legs again.
Even shorter than my second attempt.

Well, after the mannequins, we started to learn a real person and Bryson, Haelyn, Darren, and Nadia were our class model. They posed in their own way, and we drew them in within 10 minutes. And this is my result.

This one is Haelyn. This is my first attempt and I didn't know how to draw the face, so I made it blank. Haha.

Then, for our A3 assignment, we need to draw a person proportion. Ok, I never tried it before. I always draw until their shoulder. I haven't decide what I want to draw, but I really want to try this one
