Reflection of "Shawn Achor: The happy secret to better work"

Shawn Achor

Well, in this video, he argued about what people saying, "If you work harder, you will be more successful, and if you become more successful, then you will be happier" and proved that we could change the formula of successful. I strongly agree when he showed a graph with one dot above the average curve and said that we need to be more than average - just like that one dot - because normal means merely average and if we just learn something merely average, we will remain merely average.
In my opinion, the more we grow, the more we learn something new, and through these experiences we receive tons of new and unique things which we need to learn  more in-depth rather than just look at it and ignore or even delete it.

In some section of his talk, he mention that the way to become happy is not to become successful, but how we could train our brain - journaling our experiences, meditation, and exercise - to think positive instead of negative. If we think positive, our intelligence raise, we work faster and more creative.

In a nut shell, happier can be reach if we try to think more positive and learn from something odd and try not to delete it.
